These cameras seem to be watching citizens closely, but when crimes occur nearby, it often feels like they suddenly do not see anything at all. That raises an important question: what exactly are they being used for?
Many people believe these cameras are primarily tracking vehicles, collecting data on where people travel, how often they use certain roads, and how far they go. Concerns continue to grow about privacy, data collection, and the amount of information being gathered on everyday citizens without their full awareness.
A lot of people feel this level of surveillance is intrusive and raises serious questions about personal freedom and privacy rights and truly it feels the same way. A lot of people are against it and aso are a lot of cops in which one city did outlaw them but others are saying there is nothing they can do.
